Ex Beauty Queen And Shoemaker Joins Campaign Against Covid19, Distributes Palliatives, Face mask, Sanitizer ( Photos)

Famous Nigeria Born Beauty Queen and former Most Beautiful Model In Nigeria International, known for her creative shoe design labels and humanitarian works, Queen Sandra Bassey has commenced another notable intervention to provide palliatives to vulnerable households in Abak Urban Ward1, Abak Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom state. The outreach envisioned to salvage the economic struggles of people in Akwa Ibom.

During the outreach, her Foundation, the SBSL Foundation, distributed foodstuffs in several bags of rice, beans, cartons of Indomie and onions to support downtrodden homes who depended on daily income, but are unable to respond to their basic needs as a result of the "lockdown" across states in Nigeria.

The foundation through the benevolent capacity of Queen Sandra Bassey also provided free sanitisers and face masks to over 13villages across the Abak Local Government Area. SBSL Foundation engaged people in awareness and educative campaigns to keep the people informed on the precautionary activities and attitudes needed to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The soft hearted Beauty Queen who recently lost her mother and survived a protracted illness that soaked-up her funds and affected her financial might, still didn't despair on her commitments to lift lives above poverty as she rekindles her strength to provide support facilities that will assist persons who are at the receiving ends of covid19 outbreak in Nigeria and especially in Akwa Ibom state.

The Computer science graduate of Cross River University of Technology has maintained standard that sets her on the trail of positive change ,not just as an iconic woman but as an extraordinary personality, whose zeal for physical and mental empowerment cannot be overemphasized.
