Abuja Based Comedian FunnyBruno Hosts Youth Summit To Advocate Peace Across Nigeria

With the recent spate of crisis, insurgency, abduction, tribal and ethnical clashes, as well as bandits attacks across several Communities in Nigeria, peace may have become a phenomenon which is yet approaching extinction. Few days ago the House of Funny Bruno hosted the Youths Advocacy For Peace Summit. The summit was hosted in Abuja at Merit House, Maitama on the 12th of December 2020.

The Peace Summit was themed "Youth and Social Media", as it recorded the intellectual perspective of provisional solutions that could be adopted to help torpedo challenges associated national peace for the people of Nigeria. According our ABUJAPRESS, the Summit recorded discussions and presentations aimed at changing the dreadful narrative of incessant attacks, killings and crisis across Nigeria.

The occasion of Youth Advocates For Peace Summit witnessed the distinguished presence and representatives of notable personalities, including Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, who was a Special Guest of Honour, but was represented, a Representative of Hon. Sunday Akin Dare, the Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports, who was a Guest Speaker, Mrs. Anele Lilian, GM Love FM, who was also a Guest Speaker at the YAP Summit.

Other renowned individuals who were at the summit includes also Hon. Stella Okotete, Hon. Festus Keyamo SAN, Hon. Prince Clement Agba, the Minister of state for Budget and National Planning, Mr. Udeme George, a Media Consultant, Alex Nwankwo, the CEO of Amity Global Network and other reputable and vibrant personalities in Nigeria.

Speaking with the Host, Jerryson Bruno Akpomiomio popularly referred as "FunnyBruno", who is an Abuja-based Comedian and a Member of Staff with Love FM, stated emphatically that the aim of Summit was to provide solutions to recent spate insecurity in Nigeria, with emphasis on the role of youths and the Social Media in achieving progress. He however appreciated all the invitees, Guest speakers, participants and development partners who made the Summit a huge success.
