SSA To Delta State Governor On Women Mobilisation Mourns PDP National Women Leader Effah-Attoe

Chief Mrs Rita Daniels Chukwuji, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization to Delta state Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwor has expressed sadness over the passage of the National Women Leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Prof. Effah-Attoe, saying it is a colossal loss to the PDP family. 


She said Prof. Effah-Attoe a former Commissioner for Education in Cross River for an exemplary leader whose commitment to the ideal of egalitarian society was unpretentious. 


In a condolence message on Tuesday, the Governor's aide noted that Prof. Effah-Attoe stands a giant epitome of sound principle and moral uprightness to the younger generation, adding that her motherly role in building peace and fostering unity within the ranks of the party. 


She said, "The passage of our dear Women Leader, Prof. Effah-Attoe came with a rude shock to me, end of an era that came just after a brief illness. 


"Her positive energy and doggedness in driving women inclusion across board is one of a kind. 


"Her legacy of integrity and sound moral compass as well as dexterity in leadership will for a long time remain fresh in our memory", she said. 


While commiserating with her bereaved family, Chief Mrs. Chukwuji prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss. 


She also urged the government of Cross River state to immortalize her.
