Popular Humanitarian, Dr. Chris Odey Bags Ambassadorial Appointment With Disabled Community Of Nigeria

A multi award-winning activist, humanitarian, SDG advocate and Founder/CEO, International Goodwill Ambassador Club, Amb (Dr) Chris Odey who is known for his yearly humanitarian engagements in remote villages to empower and provide for the less privileged and disable communities has been appointed Ambassador and Representative to the Emirate Council of the People With Disability In The FCT, 

Karomangiji on 25th November, 2023 by the Emir of Physical Challenged Persons Living With Disabilities in the FCT, His Royal Highness Alh Muhammed Suleiman Katsina 


He said the appointment is on the heels of his long standing, selfless contribution and support for the people over a period of 10 Years.

Chris Odey has mobilized countless support ranging from finance, food, clothing for their children, school materials, medical outreaches to name a few and still doing. 


This appointment as the Official Mouthpiece of the Council grants him the powers to go everywhere in the world to represent them and speak for them.


The Emir said countless time if they go out to any government function designated to give support to the vulnerable they often classify them as Bergers and less human but thank God for people like Dr Chris Odey who have not forsaken them


He urged all person, corporate bodies and government functionaries to recognize him and lend him the needed supoort to continue on his good works


Odey in his acceptance speech said the appointment means so much to him. He said he has had countless recognition and awards from very prestigious organizations and institutions including his award of Honorary Doctor of Humanities from the University of ESPAM FORMATION UNIVERSITY, BENIN REPUBLIC, but this very one stands out because it crosses on the core of his purpose for living.


Odey said for him, doing good, lending support is his calling. The day he stops Welfarism and Humanitarian activism is the day he will die.


He urged all those whom God has blessed with the worlds goods to emulate other distinguished Nigerians to look out for the less privileged and vulnerable in our communities to assist as the economy is biting hard on everybody let alone those with one form of deformity or the other. 

He Thanked all those who came out to support him and celebrate this feat and urged them to stand with him as the award means a call to more work for.


The popular leading event entrepreneur who over the weekend bagged the Great Achievers Award for human and community development will hosting the much anticipated Global Leading Women Award scheduled to hold 1st December, 2023 at Abuja Intercontinental Hotel.
