Etsu Nupe, Charles Odii, Elvis Abuyere, Jumai Ahmadu, Others Set For African Fashion and Arts Award "AFAA"

Top among those to be honoured include the Etsu of Nupe, His Royal Highness, Alh. Dr. Yahaya Abubakar. 

Also to be honoured are a prominent businessman, Charles Odii, GMD Skyewise Group, Elvis Abuyere, women advocate Jumai Ahmadu and others. 

The foremost traditional ruler will bag the award of African Royal Leadership Patriarch Award. 

He recently marked the 20th anniversary of his coronation as the 13th Etsu Nupe. 

He is also the chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The Etsu of Nupe, often described as a peace-loving father figure has received commendations in the past two decades he has been on throne for his demonstration of sense of justice and fairness in leading the Nupe community, one of the largest ethnic communities in the northern Nigeria.

Many African countries, including Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Rwanda, Lesotho, Tanzania among others will participate at the African Fashion & Arts Awards (AFAA) in Abuja. 

It comes up Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotels) Abuja at 6pm.
