America’s Got Talent cheerleader, Emily Gold commits su!cide

Published on

Emily Gold, a 17-year-old high school cheerleader who recently gained national attention on America’s Got Talent (AGT), has tragically passed away, with her death currently under investigation as a possible suicide.

Gold was found deceased on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga, California, just before midnight on Friday.

Law enforcement sources have indicated that she may have jumped from an overpass and was later struck by at least one vehicle on the freeway below.

Authorities received 911 calls reporting a pedestrian down in the carpool lane, and California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded to the scene.

The driver who struck Gold did not stop, and investigators are uncertain whether the driver was aware they had hit a person or mistook the impact for an object on the road.

No suicide note was found at the scene, and the CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding her untimely death.

Emily Gold captured audiences’ hearts earlier this year with her high school dance team from Los Osos High School during their electrifying performance on America’s Got Talent.

Their performance received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, and they made it to the quarterfinals before being eliminated in August.

Gold’s passing has left her family, friends, and the AGT community devastated, as they mourn the loss of a talented and promising young life.
