Chima Anyaso Beats A. Rano, Stan Eke, Agboola to Emerge 2024 'Businessman of the Year'
Abuja - Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Caades Group, has emerged as the 2024 Businessman of the Year.
in a 13 day nationwide online poll conducted by Leadership Excellence Awards (LEEX) and monitored by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Anyaso garnered 24,649 votes, to defeat three other final nominees: A.A. Rano (15,741), Leo Stan Eke (12,681), and Olugbenga Agboola (7,924).
The LEEX awards endorsed by African Union, African Film Institute (AFI), is Africa's foremost online media awards.
The prestigious award will be presented to Anyaso and other winners at the 6th IgbereTV LEEX Awards ceremony which will take place on November 2, 2024 at the NAF Conference Hall, Abuja,
The ceremony will be chaired by the former governor of Abia state Senator T.A. Orji and keynoted by Chief Olusegun Osoba, the former governor of Ogun State.
Some of the other winners are Udom Emmanuel (Man of the Year), Adora Umeoji (Woman of the Year), Babajide Sanwoolu (Governor of the Year) and over 40 other categories
Founded in 2006, Anyaso's Caades Group, a multi-billion-Naira conglomerate with diversified interests in Oil and Gas, Energy, Real Estate, Hospitality, Foreign Exchange and Other sectors, has established itself as a major player in Nigeria's business landscape.
Anyaso was the Abia state governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in 2023 general elections and this recognition solidifies his position as a leading figure in Nigeria's business community.
