Dr. Chima Anyaso Bags Businessman of The Year Award, Receives Surprise Creative Portrait Of Himself On Stage
The Chairman/CEO CAADES Group and Founder Ofuji Movement, Dr. Chima Anyaso has been conferred with the prestigious honour of Businessman of the Year, a recognition for his human capacity building efforts and mentorship for young entrepreneurs.
The Leadership Excellence (LEEX) was organized at the weekend by renowned media organization, Igbere TV at NAF Conference Centre, Abuja.
The popular player in Nigeria's oil and gas sector also runs Umu Aba Connect Association in Lagos, a group of people of like minds who have made significant contributions towards discovering talents and assisting the less privileged to grow and achieve their ambitions.
He expressed gratitude for the recognition and dedicated it to young men and women who have defied odds and surmounted challenges to make impact, not only in his Igbere Bende community in Abia but across the country.
"It gives me joy to see young men not just from my community Igbere but across Nigeria prosper. As a progressive man, I am happy to support young striving Nigerians. This award I dedicate it to all forward-looking young men because these are the people I represent here today", he noted.

portrait of him and presented same to him on stage at the award ceremony.
The young talented artist whose mother Mrs Diana Ojukwu Patrick hails from Igbere, same community with Dr. Anyaso has been applauded for this creativity. He has done similar jobs for other notable Nigerians in the past.
"It was an unforgettable evening, a brilliant young artist captured my likeness right on stage with his paint and brush, and I had the pleasure of meeting some of Nigeria's brightest young talents.
"Interacting with these future leaders strengthens my belief in Nigeria and makes me more hopeful than ever for our nation's future both in business and leadership.

A highly influential political figure in Abia, his Young Progressive Party (YPP) demonstrated unassuming strength in the 2023 election in the state.
The event’s keynote speaker, former Ogun State Governor Chief Olusegun Osoba, represented by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Tunde Rahman, congratulated the award winners and praised the organizers for acknowledging the achievements of exemplary leaders. Osoba urged Nigerian leaders to exhibit tenacity and patriotism to inspire recognition and celebration.
Executive Director of Igbere TV, Mr. James Emeh, stated that the 6th edition of LEEX aimed to “recognize outstanding individuals and celebrate the spirit of leadership that drives positive change, inspires hope, and builds bridges in our communities and beyond.” He emphasized that the awards honor leaders who embody integrity, innovation, and a strong commitment to service.
The ceremony also celebrated other distinguished individuals, including former Akwa Ibom state governor, Udom Emmanuel, who was celebrated as Man of the Year, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award in Public Service; Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong Udo, named House of Representatives Member of the Year; and Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding Programme, recognized as Social Welfare Icon of the Year. Veteran broadcaster Cyril Stober and screen legend Patience Ozokwor were also honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards in journalism and entertainment, respectively.
