Sir Onyekwue Nnadozie, Other Experts To Speak At Wellness & Mental Health Conference 2024

Plans are ongoing for the hosting of the 2024 Wellness & Mental Health Conference with the theme, "Resilience and Coping Strategies for a Changing Nigeria (world)" 

Scheduled to hold on Nov. 27, 2024 at Merit House Abuja, this conference have the founder of TAR Initiative, Sir Onyekwue Francis Nnadozie as one of the lead speakers.

Organised by Princess Victoria Ibokette Foundation (PVIF), this conference will raise awareness on the steps individuals must take to protect their health as well as how to overcome mental health challenges.

This is in view of the several social problems confronting the society, especially economic related problems which has given rise to many health challenges, with mental health concerns being on the rise.
As one of the lead speakers, Sir Nnadozie wields humongous experience as a practicing social and youth worker, who has practiced for over 25 years. 

He started his career as a social worker in Sierra Leone, where he first performed the role of part-time lecture, at the Institute of public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone. 

While in Sierra Leone, he served as Psychosocial Consultant to many non-governmental Organizations. Back here in Nigeria, he is the founder and Executive Director (TAR) Initiative, a non-governmental Organization that focuses on mental health awareness creation and support, trauma healing, psychosocial support and community Peace building.

As a trainer, he loves transfer of knowledge. He is also a forgiveness therapist and trauma Counselor who Presently serves as the secretary Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW), FCT chapter.

Others speakers at the conference include, Dr. Mimi Osad Osamwonyi, Dr. Abiodun Adelowo, Imaobong Ladipo-Sanusi, and Dr. Chika Anozie.
