Tinubu extends tenure of NIS CG Nandap

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the extension of Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap’s tenure as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), recognizing her contributions to the agency’s progress.
Nandap, who began her career in the NIS on October 9, 1989, was initially appointed as Comptroller-General on March 1, 2024, with her tenure originally set to end on August 31, 2025. However, in acknowledgment of her achievements, President Tinubu has extended her service until December 31, 2026.
Announcing the decision in a statement on Monday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, highlighted key improvements under Nandap’s leadership. These include advancements in border management, modernization of immigration processes, and strengthened national security measures.
President Tinubu commended Nandap’s dedication and urged her to remain focused on the Service’s strategic goals, aligning with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
